We’re Officially Georgia Grown
Today, we joined Georgia Grown! We’re proud to be part of something bigger than just our own little pasture.
Why does it matter? Because every week, more and more of you are choosing to take a step away from the box store grocery culture. I get it; that’s how most of us were raised, and we all still shop there for plenty of things. But something has changed in how people think about food, and it’s a beautiful thing.
It’s no small thing that folks stop on a Saturday morning to buy beef from a girl in a parking lot, standing next to a custom-built homemade freezer trailer. That might sound a little crazy, but to us? That’s powerful. That’s community. That’s trust. And that’s a movement I’m honored to be part of.
Joining Georgia Grown is another way we stay rooted in local agriculture and connect with people who want to know where their food comes from, and who was involved in raising it. You don’t have to overhaul your whole pantry. But every time you choose to buy local, you make a difference for small producers like Arlin and me… and for your own family.
Thank you for walking this food journey with us and for changing the culture of food, one cut of beef at a time.
We’ll post our Georgia Grown listing soon! And if you’re new here, swing by the general store in Culloden, or catch us Saturday mornings at the Perry Farmers Market. We’d love to meet you.
